The HTML alt attribute
The alt attribute is alternative description of the element. This text will see visitors if their browser doesn't display the element itself.
The alt attribute can only be used with the following HTML elements:
- img
- area
- input
<input type="image" ... / > form button. - applet
For alternative description of an applet.(Doyle, 2008)
The HTML title attribute
You can use the title attribute to supply additional information about the element. This text will see visitors as well as the element itself.(Doyle, 2008)
"The HTML title attribute can be used with all elements except the following:

The title attribute is always optional; no HTML element requires that you include a title attribute."(Doyle, 2008)
The title of the page and the description of the image will improve the results of the search engine and facilitate the search for the user, so correctly chosen words will improve the site's SEO performance.
